Oglethorpe Falls to George Fox 71-56 at NCAA Sectionals


Fifth-ranked Oglethorpe University and its attempt for back-to-back NCAA Final Four appearances was thwarted in the Round of 16 at the hands of undefeated and third-ranked George Fox, 71-56, Friday evening at Thomas More College.

After the game Coach Ron Sattele of Oglethorpe talked about how George Fox responded with an 18-0 run after the Petrels tied the game at 44 with 14 minutes to play. To listen, click here.

Oglethorpe struggled from the field tonight shooting just 35% from the field, scoring just 56 points for a team that averages almost 80, Coach Sattele talked about the way George Fox played defense on the Petrels this evening. To listen, click here.
