Paced by junior Danny Noll's 26 points, the No. 1 East seeded Centre Colonels cruised to a 66-41 SCAC Quarterfinal win over the No. 4 West seeded Austin College Kangaroos. Noll finished the game shooting a lights-out 11-for-16 (68.8 percent) and chipped in with eight rebounds.
After shooting just 9-for-24 in the first half, the Colonels closed out the second half shooting a robust 15-for-29 (51.7 percent). The win placed Centre in the SCAC semifinals for the fifth straight year in a row and marks the six time, in the past seven seasons, that the Colonels have advanced to the semifinal round.
The SCACs Jeff DeBaldo had a chance to catch up with Centre head coach Greg Mason, Centre junior Danny Noll and Austin College head coach Rodney Wecker.
