SCAC Football Podcast


This week on the SCAC Football Podcast; Director of Communications Russell Kramer sat down with SCAC Offensive Player-of-the-Week Alex Koors of DePauw, Defensive Player-of-the-Week Jonathan Lambert of DePauw and Special Teams Player-of-the-Week Taylor Russolino of Millsaps.

Koors became DePauw's all-time receiving yardage leader breaking the mark of 2,913 held by Dan Ryan (1999-2002) by catching six passes for 157 yards and three touchdowns. He also tied the DePauw single-game record with his three receiving touchdowns. Koors also moved into second-place on the SCAC’s career receiving yardage list and is just 220 yards from setting the conference mark.

Lambert tallied 13 tackles (seven solo) while also breaking up a pass in DePauw’s 35-7 win over visiting Sewanee.

Russolino averaged 40.7 yards per punt on seven punts while pinning three of his kicks inside the 20-yard line in a 27-23 win at Trinity. He also had one punt which was fair caught. Russolino also handled kickoff duties and tallied one touchback on five kickoffs.
