The Trinity University offense continued its strong start at the SCAC Baseball Championship by tallying 19 hits in a 14-4 eight inning victory over Centre College in the third and final game of day two. The Tigers have totaled 40 hits in its first two games. Though the final score won't show it, the two team were tied, 4-4, until Trinity scored three times in the bottom of the fifth to pull away for the win. Leading Trinity was Jordan Pennington who went 4-for-6 with three runs scored, three RBI and hit a home run. Trinity hit .475 (19-for-40) as a team. Centre, on the other hand was limited to 7-of-32 (.219) at the plate.
